Bambusa chungii

‘White Bamboo’

Size: 30 ft. X 2 inches 

Erect flashy appearance, dense clumper exotic ornamental perfect for a hedge or windbreak or as an attractive stand alone specimen.

Bambusa chungii has graceful thin walled culms. When the culms are young they are covered with white powder thus giving it the nickname “white bamboo.” Chungii’s culms mature to be a powdery blue green and are exposed for 5-10 feet. 

Good for flutes, splits and crafts.
