Bambusa textilis gracilis

Size: 20-25ft. X 1.5 inches

Origin: China

Similar to its relative Bambusa textilis, but smaller, Gracilis is becoming one of the most popular bamboos on Maui and is an excellent choice for windbreak, privacy barrier and view corridor issues. 

Gracillis has shorter culms and its leaves are more slender.  Also it is slightly less vertical.
